University degree in Physics, MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and PhD in Biotechnology, all at the University of Barcelona (UB, Spain). She also conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute for Complex Molecular Systems (ICMS) at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands).
Berta completed her doctorate in the field of membrane biophysics at the Bioengineering Institute of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain) and as a PhD visitor at the ESRF, the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Grenoble, France). She then conducted postdoctoral research at ICMS, where she focused on the synthesis, characterization, and assembly of colloidal systems. Most of her work has been presented in various conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. During her time as a researcher, Berta participated in different projects in collaboration with both national and international institutions. She is currently studying a Master in Corporative Communication, Protocol and Events at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC, Spain).
Berta is mainly involved in the management of the EU-PEARL project, as well as supporting communication tasks.
