Freya Sentmartí Edwards

Junior Communications Officer

Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations at University of Girona (Spain), with a year abroad at NHL Stenden (The Netherlands). Master’s of Science in Strategic Communication and Public Relations at Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) and University of Stirling (Scotland).

Freya began her academic journey in Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Girona, where she also completed a year abroad at NHL Stenden in The Netherlands. She then pursued a Master of Science in Strategic Communication and Public Relations at Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Stirling.

During her master’s studies, Freya focused her thesis on Ecolinguistics within governmental public relations campaigns, exploring the intersection of communication and environmental sustainability messaging. In 2024, she participated in the European Green Activist Training, a program designed to equip young activists with insights into politics and enhance their collaborative skills.

Her professional experience includes roles at the advertising agency Ogilvy and the Alicia Foundation, among others.

In 2024, Freya joined Teamit as a Junior Communications Officer, where she is excited to apply her expertise to drive impactful communication initiatives.
