On 4 November, Teamit will join partners, regulators, public health agencies, researchers, and industry representatives in Brussels for the 5th anniversary celebration of VAC4EU – Vaccine Monitoring Collaboration for Europe. The programme brings together leading voices in vaccine safety, effectiveness, and real-world evidence (RWE), offering a full day of scientific exchange and forward-looking debate.
A Programme Built Around Collaboration and Future Needs
The event will open with remarks from VAC4EU President Miriam Sturkenboom, followed by a keynote address from Heidi Larson (Vaccine Confidence Project), who will explore the evolving landscape of vaccine confidence across Europe.
The agenda then moves into two core panel discussions:
- Panel 1 – Lessons Learned from RWE generation in Europe in the past 5 years
Regulatory, industry and academic experts will revisit key learnings from Europe’s pandemic response, including the value of rapid RWE generation, cross-country coordination, and communication strategies that support public trust. - Panel 2 – Where should we focus?
This session will examine the next steps for strengthening Europe’s capacity to generate regulatory-grade evidence, with a focus on methodological innovation, sustainable infrastructure, and multistakeholder collaboration.
Teamit’s Contribution
Teamit will participate actively throughout the programme, with CEO Eva Molero set to deliver closing remarks, reflecting our continued role in supporting high-quality evidence generation and advancing coordinated approaches to vaccine monitoring across Europe.
We look forward to engaging with the network and contributing to the discussions that will help shape the next phase of VAC4EU.
