Insights from the World Vaccine Congress Europe 2025

This October, Teamit CEO Eva Molero attended the World Vaccine Congress in Amsterdam, a global event which brings together researchers, public health experts, regulators and industry representatives to discuss the future of vaccination.

This year’s agenda highlighted the importance of strengthening public trust, addressing vaccine hesitancy and improving collaboration across the vaccine ecosystem. Sessions also explored the growing impact of artificial intelligence on safety monitoring and the challenge of combatting misinformation in an increasingly digital world.

VAC4EU, a leading network for vaccine monitoring in Europe of which Teamit is an active member, had a prominent role in the agenda, contributing to three panels on “Enhancing Global Vaccine Safety: Definitions, Data, and Public Trust”, “Advanced AI-Driven Signal Detection” and “One Size Doesn’t Fit Data: Why Representation Can’t Be an Afterthought”.

These panels discussed the importance of public trust, explored next-generation machine-learning approaches to real-time adverse-event detection and data integration and highlighted the importance of data diversity in vaccine research.

The Congress provided an opportunity for Teamit to connect with partners, exchange knowledge and underline the collective responsibility of ensuring access to safe and effective vaccines.
