Albino’s career in European funding and project management has developed through hands-on experience in Brussels-based organisations, including European consulting firms and the European Patients’ Forum (EPF). He has worked on multi-country EU-funded research and innovation projects in the health sector, under programmes such as Horizon Europe, IMI/IHI, and EU4Health, contributing to the coordination, implementation, reporting, and financial management of complex, multi-stakeholder consortia.

Throughout his professional experience, Albino has been actively involved in the full project lifecycle, including proposal preparation, budgeting, compliance with European Commission rules, stakeholder coordination, and financial and contractual management. He has a strong interest in the financial governance of EU-funded projects.
