Vision

ERDERA aims to create a comprehensive multi-stakeholder ecosystem focused on rare disease research. This involves supporting patient-centered research, developing new treatments and diagnostic methods, leveraging health and research data, and leading the digital transformation in rare disease research and innovation (R&I).

ERDERA has a triparte mission:

- Unify and share research and innovation (R&I) knowledge, resources, and services from across Europe, ensuring that every rare disease rare disease research project benefits from cross-disciplinary expertise, goal-oriented planning, and efficient execution.

- Enable every consenting rare disease patient to be findable and enrolled in suitable clinical studies, accelerating advances in prevention, diagnosis, disease knowledge, and treatment.

- Make Europe a global leader in rare disease research by increasing investment to spur innovation, aligning regional, national and European research strategies and fostering collaboration among all stakeholders (including the private sector) at global scale.
