Elena began her career at the health start-up Adan Medical Innovation where she carried out the role of manager assistant. She later joined the Neurovascular Research Laboratory at the Vall d’Hebrón Institute of Research, where she conducted academic research and managed projects within various European-funded research and clinical studies in the stroke field. Elena holds a PhD in neurosciences, specialising in the study of blood biomarkers for stroke etiology. She has also published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at international conferences.

Elena joined Teamit in 2022 as a study manager, managing several pharmacoepidemiology studies funded by pharmaceutical companies from all over Europe.
