With extensive expertise as a communications officer, Jordi draws on his background in journalism, communications, and culture management to drive innovation. After working across both the private and nonprofit sectors, he transitioned to international organizations in 2012, starting with the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) in Geneva, followed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome. During his time at these institutions, Jordi developed a deep understanding of the nuanced intersections between diverse topics such as food systems, human rights, social justice, and health.

Serving as a key facilitator, he helped coordinate cross-departmental efforts to create communications strategies and materials; effectively advancing organizational goals on a global scale.
