Teamit Research Helps Kick Off New €6M-funded European Project to Advance Inflammatory Bowel Disease Diagnosis and Therapies

Teamit Research is proud to announce the official kick-off of Horizon Europe-funded project FIBROTARGET, in which the organization will oversee project management, sustainability, and communications and dissemination activities.

Led by The University of Leuven, the 5-year initiative with €6M in funding aims to advance inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) diagnosis and therapies. Its long-term impact will be significant, given its potential to help reduce the socioeconomic burden of intestinal fibrosis and fibrostenosis—crippling conditions associated with inflammatory bowel disease.

Teamit Research is proud to form part of a consortium comprising a mix of research institutions, hospitals, businesses, and patient organisations. The company’s expertise, versatility and tenacity will ensure that the work and research undertaken by project partners will be efficiently executed and widely disseminated, when possible, among various health stakeholders across Europe and abroad. In doing all this, Teamit Research can help contribute to delivering lasting impact even after the project’s completion in 2028.
