Head of Partnerships at Teamit, Gianmarco di Mauro to chair a session on Pharmacovigilance and vaccines at the upcoming ISoP Mid-Year symposium in Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau (Barcelona).
On 3-4 June 2024, Barcelona will host the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) Mid-Year Symposium focused on “The value of real-world data for ensuring patient safety”.
The two-day event will bring together healthcare professionals, academics, industry professionals and regulatory bodies with expertise in pharmacovigilance to discuss topics including real-world evidence, pharmacogenomics and personalised medicine, pharmacovigilance and vaccines and patient safety and communication.
Teamit’s Head of Partnerships and expert in pharmacoepidemiology research Gianmarco di Mauro will chair the session “Pharmacovigilance and vaccines”. This interactive session will bring together representatives from the European Medicines Agency and the non-profit Fight Infections Foundation to present on the role of pharmacovigilance in the context of current and future public health threats. Gianmarco will also moderate the panel discussion with experts on the topic of pharmacovigilance and vaccines.
