University degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Technology at the University of Milan (Italy). Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, Barcelona (Spain)
As a master’s student, Fabio worked on the development of cholinergic nervous system drugs at the University of Wuerzburg (Germany).
In 2016 he joined the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline’s in Siena (Italy), developing multivalent glycoconjugate vaccines for injectable administration.
Afterward, he switched his research interests to precision medicine and obtained the Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry (2020) at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia in Barcelona (Spain), working on the development of light-regulated drugs for the treatments of cardiovascular diseases and neurological disorders. Most of his works have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Fabio joined Teamit in 2021 as a Project Manager for VAC4EU.
