Teamit Institute will be at the ICPE 2023 (International Conference of Pharmacoepidemiology) next August 23-27. Organised by IPSE (International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology), this Conference will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Following last year’s success, where Teamit presented a poster in Copenhagen, main author Natasha Yefimenko, MSc, MBA, PhD and co-authors Fabio Riefolo, MSc, PHd, Katica Boric MSc, PhD, Gianmarco Di Mauro, MSc, PhD and Eva Molero will represent Teamit in this Conference.

Five days, four plenary sessions
‘ICPE 2023: The Global Home for the Science of Real-World Evidence’ is the place to get in front of pharmacoepidemiology, therapeutic risk management and drug safety professionals, who will share their cutting-edge developments both in a in-person and virtual format.
- The first plenary session (Friday, August 25, 2023 – 8:15 AM – 10:00 AM ADT) will be ‘Global Regulatory Forum on Real-World Evidence; Sponsored by ISPE’s RWE Collaborative SIG and Government Council’, a novel opportunity for ISPE membership to interact with international regulators on scientific initiatives and current approaches around the use of Real-World Data and Real-World Evidence.
- The second plenary session (Saturday, August 26, 2023 – 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM ADT) is ‘Patient Involvement in the Development and Safe Use of Medicines’, as regional authorities worldwide have called for greater patient involvement in the development and safe use of medicines.
- The third plenary session (Saturday, August 26, 2023 – 2:40 PM – 3:00 PM ADT) will be the ‘Annual Meeting of ISPE Members & Awards Ceremony’.
- The fouth and last plenary session (Sunday, August 27, 2023 – 3:15 PM – 4:45 PM ADT) will be ‘Health Equity and Diversity in Pharmacoepidemiology Research: Making Change Happen’, where pharmacoepidemiology and public health experts will discuss and define important concepts in Health Equity Research.
