Teamit launches its second Strategic Plan to guide its next phase of growth and impact

Teamit has launched its second Strategic Plan, setting out the organisation’s direction for 2026–2029. Building on the foundations set in its first plan (2023–2025), this new plan marks a shift towards a more mature, structured and forward-looking phase, reflecting both the organisation’s growth and its ambition to continue evolving as a trusted partner in the European health research and innovation ecosystem.

Over the years, Teamit has steadily developed its expertise, expanded its services, and built strong collaborations across Europe. This second strategic cycle represents a natural step forward—a moment to consolidate what has been achieved while setting a clear direction for the needs and opportunities ahead.

At its core, the new plan aims to strengthen Teamit as “a smarter, more robust and impactful organisation” — not only by defining priorities, but by aligning the organisation around a shared direction for the coming years.

“This Strategic Plan is both a roadmap and a shared commitment. It expresses where Teamit is heading, how we intend to get there, and the principles that guide us along the way.”

Eva Molero, Teamit’s CEO

A continued commitment to collaborative impact

Teamit’s mission remains centred on advancing collaborative health research and innovation—connecting science, policy, and society to pave the way towards a healthier future.

Building on this foundation, the 2026–2029 Strategic Plan reinforces its commitment to quality, collaboration, and long-term impact, while responding to emerging needs in the field.

Three pillars guiding the next phase

To translate this ambition into action, the 2026-2029 Strategic Plan is structured around three core pillars, each addressing a fundamental dimension of Teamit’s work and development:

The Organisation
WHO WE ARE
Consolidating a robust, agile, and future-ready organisation
The Services
WHAT WE DO
Adapting and strengthening Teamit’s services in response to emerging needs in health research and innovation.
The Ecosystem
WITH WHOM
Deepening collaboration and engagement across the health research and innovation ecosystem.

Three pillars guiding the next phase

The launch of the 2026–2029 Strategic Plan opens a new phase for Teamit: one that is focused on turning strategic priorities into concrete actions, monitoring progress through defined indicators, and continuing to adapt through learning and experience.
