The stunning Sant Pau modernist site will be the background of Vaccine Monitoring Collaboration for Europe (VAC4EU) first face to face General Assembly Meeting next 7-8 November 2022. Teamit Institute hosts this event which will bring together over 50 representatives from Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, the Netherlands, and the UK.

VAC4EU was created in January 2020 as a continuation of ADVANCE. This project funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative created a European ecosystem that allows the implementation of a collaborative monitoring of vaccines. VAC4EU is formed by 25 research and public health institutions.

Currently, this international association is leading safety and effectiveness monitoring on COVID-19 vaccines requested by EMA or by vaccine manufacturers, as well as studies requested by the US CDC Now.

The General Assembly Meeting this month aims to discuss the recent progress made by the association and establish the strategic objectives for next year. Teamit Institute, member of VAC4EU executive board, will welcome partners at Barcelona Health Hub, located inside Sant Pau modernist site.
